Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Tabula Rasa
Policy priority: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: I am a Tab judge. I believe that debaters should tell me WHY I should vote for them. Evidence must be quality. Speech can be fast, but must be clear. I will not flow things unless I am told to carry them across. I believe that CX times are for the debaters and I do not flow them. If you want something from CX to be included, you must bring them up in your speech. I do not like rudeness to competitors.
