Rounds judged: 20
Approach: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Philosophy:
I value clash decide who has won a round based on who upheld their value best. However, I also keep in mind how a speaker preforms, I award speaker points based on elegance and poise and I judge the final outcome of the round based on who best upheld their value and whose case best upholds that. I also care about substantive rebuttals and I take drops in the AR1, NR, and AR2.
