Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 10?
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: I vote on stock issues but I also reserve the right to be a critic of argument. I like counter-plans. Kritiks ok. Run DAs that apply to plan (I won't vote for a DA that claims China will nuke us if the president burps in New York - ridiculous but you get the point)

LD

Rounds judged: 20?
Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
I look at the value debate and debate of the resolution equally. I expect the negative to clash with Affirmative.
