Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Tabula Rasa
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: I find it 100% necessary for claims to be backed up by evidence. Dropped arguments show weakness in your case. Topicality isn't a voter unless there is an actual violation of the topic.

LD

Rounds judged: 0
Approach:
Philosophy:
It is necessary for me to know how their value and criteria link, and why it should be held to a higher value. I look for drops and gaps in the debaters’ arguments.
