Judging Philosophy
CX
Judging approach: Policy Maker
Policy priority: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: I'm good with speed, but it must be understandable even if I'm flashed in, I'll vote on T (if reasonable), K's are good, so are K affs I don't weigh Theory as heavily in general, but obviously if it's substantial it's possible I'd vote on it. Flashing is not prep time if reasonably short, Open CX is encouraged but should not be the same person the whole time, and disrespectful competitors will lose major speaks. I may ask for evidence afterwards. Anything else should be asked before round.
