Rounds judged: 2
Judging approach: Tabula Rasa
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: As close to Tab as somecone can attempt to be. Any argument is great as long as the speaker understands it wholly. I encourage originality and complex thoughts over reading a ton of briefs. Clarity and communication are crucial to a beneficial round. Ks can be great or terrible depending upon skill level of the speaker. If a framework isn’t given, I’ll default to stocks and impact depending on how the round leans.

Rounds judged: 2
Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
Understanding your own points is the most important thing. There should be clash and good communication throughout the round. I’ll listen to whatever I am told as long as it is said clearly and carried throughout the round. Be professional but invested.
