Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: My judging paradigm is that the burden is on the Aff. The evidence must be valid. The quality of the evidence is just as important as the quantity of the evidence. The stock issues are just as important as the competitors speaking ability. There must be a conflict that exists but is the primary responsibility of the Neg. The burden of proof is on the Aff.

LD

Rounds judged: 0
Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
I am an open-minded judge and I like to enter the debate with a clean slate. LD is all about value and criterion and how well the debaters prove that and have evidence for it will determine the result.
