I had competed in Lincoln Douglas for my high school career as well as Informative Speaking. I have placed in both categories many times and I also helped my peers improve on their skills by watching and judging them.

Both communication skills and resolution should be balanced, All aspects of the LD formatting should be followed too. The argument should make sense and they should have the conviction of following through until the end.
