Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 10
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: You should have a laid out plan included in your case. If questioned on details you should be able to provide more information to show that you have worked on the necessary critical thinking involved in developing it. Negative is the same. Be clear in organization. Give a roadmap. Label your arguments. Have fun!

LD

Rounds judged: 4
Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
Evaluate your value and criteria against the opponent's. Show how each outweighs. Crystallize the round.
