Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
I might have a slight tendency to go to Resolution of the issue over the communication but not heavily. I feel that you have to be able to communicate to the judge the point you are trying to get across. You need strong values to be able to establish the criteria that you presenting. This is value and criteria debate and not policy debate (CX Debate). I have seen too many people judge Lincoln Douglas Debate as if it were CX Debate. Debaters do not have to be able to implement the concepts that they are providing the argument for but they must provide a logical argument with valid evidence to support their position.
