I have debated at a High School and college level for nearly 3 years. Was the LD captain of my high school debate team, made it to TFA state for Public Forum debate, and have judged multiple other debate competitions prior to this.

Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
I like to see framework debate more than contention level debate. I also value the burdens for both the affirmative and the negative; if the negative is unable to initiate clash then I will not give them the round. If a speaker is unable to make eye contact, stumbles through their case/crossfire questions, or spreads, I do dock speaker points.
