I spent a lot of time judging with my peers while in college at tournaments across the state. I have yet to judge this year, but am extremely interested in judging more, and I spent time judging many tournaments last year.
Judging Philosophy

Judging approach:
Policy priority:
Evidence philosophy:
Paradigm:
LD
Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
In an LD debate round I value clear communication, attack of the opponents arguments, defense of one's own arguments, and the ultimate weighing of which have more impact. I believe LD debates should be objective and should resolve all major issues brought up in the debate.
