Judging Philosophy
CX
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: Not a big fan of "K's" but will listen to them if they are relevant to the resolution. I prefer a stock issues debate that is effectively communicated and argued.
LD
Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
I sometime question the more progressive LD debater, but will listen to the argument. I prefer a V/VC case and argument that is effectively communicated and argued.
