Judging Philosophy
CX
Judging approach: Tabula Rasa
Policy priority: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: I will be as Tabula Rasa as possible but admittedly I will have a few things that I feel strongly about but I will try my best to not let those interfere. I debated and debated using Kritiks, Theory, and Larp prep interchangeably. Any type of argumentation will work fine with me and I understand the interactions of all the different layers thoroughly but Phil and Tricks debate are where I begin to have a hard time. Basic Phil arguments are fine (i.e. Rawls, Kant, etc.) but tricky phil arguments will be a bit hard for me to follow.
