Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: Stock issues judge that loves to weigh impacts of the round. I prefer not to hear kritiks or counterplans but if ran correctly then I’ll vote on them. I can flow spreading but slow down on card titles to make things more clear for the round.

LD

Rounds judged: 0
Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
Value and Criterion debate is the most important voting issue and needs to be argued. Contention debate also makes for a really exciting debate. I do not listen to DA’s, CP, or Kritiks in LD debate because it is not policy debate and these arguments are not applicable.
