Judging qualifications:
I have been teaching Theatre, Speech, Comm App, English 1 -4 for the last 30 years.
I spent 12 of those years teaching in middle school where my team won 2 national junior forensic league awards in 2004 (2nd place) and 2005 (3rd place )
Then when I moved back to High School, I took over the speech and debate team as well as the head Theatre director for the last 4 years.
I have judged and coached extensively for the last 4 years.

Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: I have not judged CX because it is not prevalent in my area and is not my forte'

Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
The best communicator who can substantially defend his case, while tearing holes in opponents case is in my opinion the better of the debater
