Judging qualifications:
I participated in UIL oral interpretation from 4th grade to 12th grade. With 8 years of experience in oral interpretation combined with my advancement to state as a regional champion, I believe I have adequate knowledge of the competition to judge comprehensively.
I participated in extemporaneous speaking my senior year, placing first in almost all of the invitational tournaments available at the time. While qualifying UIL competitions were cancelled my senior year, I did have extensive experience in public speaking competitions, from FFA Creed Speaking to HOSA Prepared Speaking, as well as FFA Public Speaking. In both FFA and HOSA, I advanced to the state level as the area/regional champion. My experience as a public speaker also brought me to community stages and school assemblies, where I often gave speeches advocating for change and other things.
