Judging Philosophy
CX
Judging approach:
Policy priority:
Evidence philosophy:
Paradigm:
LD
Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
I like for debaters to stay on the framework. I like a case to directly uphold the value and criteria. I like strong CX questions and direct argumentation. I remind debaters that I am not a policy judge. For me, everything hinges on the foundation of the value and criteria of a case. I like value clash and strong voters.
