I am now a debate teacher at my alma mater.

Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Tabula Rasa
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: I am a Tabula Rasa judge with an underscoring of a games player. What I mean by this is I am a blank slate that is willing to to be written on by the debate space and I will play whatever game the debaters wish to play as long as they can explain it well. I will make policy if they wish to go that route and theory if they will support their arguments. Impact analysis is key! I will follow spreading, but as a rule of thumb this is a sport of speech which means you should be able to articulate a position for any layman no matter their background.

Philosophy:
Although not always a thing to be I am a Tabula Rasa judge with an underscoring of a games player. I will not do the work for you so make sure your values are on point!
