I have coached in the elementary, middle school, and now high school world for most of my career. In the last 3 years I have been very involved in UIL Congress and have learned a great deal. I feel I am fair, informed, and I know what good speaking/argumentation looks like.

Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: I am going to always listen to both sides of the argument and how it is presented. However, the quality and plausibility of the argument and how it is presented is ultimately going to weigh heavily on my decision.
