UIL Speech Judges

Judging qualifications:
Interp --- I have coaches several state finalists and one state champion. It starts with good literature matched to the reader, and continues through a performance with eye contact that connects and organization that allows the intro, tease, and episodes of the performance to all tell the story well. Extemp --- I have coached several regional finalists. Understanding the topic, using natural delivery, and appropriately answering the question all work together with clean transitions and great eye contact. LD --- I have coached a few state finalists and one state champion. LD debate is about judging one side of the resolution better than the other using either criterion/value relationships a "better world" viewpoint - I am open to either.
