Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 5
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: I will flow the entire round and determine who wins the ballot based on the flow. I want to hear stock issues. I want impact calcs. Not everything leads to nuclear war or extinction.

LD

Rounds judged: 5
Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
I will flow the round and who wins the ballot is based on the flow. Yet, it is important to remember LD is VALUE debate. I do not want to hear policy in an LD round
