Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: Issues of overwhelming that are brought up clearly will win a round. If no such thing is brought up, it comes down to speaking skill and refutation of arguments made. CX is a respectful debate and the policy and respect in a round should be maintained.

LD

Rounds judged: 0
Approach: Communication skills are more important than resolution of substantive issues
Philosophy:
Presentation of information in a formulaic manner is the best way to get through to me as a judge.
