As a former prose/poetry competitor, I am very passionate to see students excel in their craft. It is of the utmost importance that students receive thoughtful and useful feedback in order to succeed at a competitive level, as well as interpersonal and professional levels. As a judge, my primary goal is to provide constructive feedback to students that will aid them in their journey to becoming well-rounded, high-achieving and motivated speakers.
