Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: I do not have a heavy preference for the type of arguments presented when discussing CP, kritiks, etc. I will evaluate the basic five portions of the stock issues and will weigh them equally. I prefer Off Case arguments over On-Case. Outside of this I enjoy Game Theory and can follow any arguments presented. If introducing a Kritik please give a tag and brief explanation, do not expect me to know all kritiks. I also like Hypothesis Tester and will consider the arguments presented. I would like to avoid abuse calls, race arguments, or political party topics but I will listen and judge fairly on it. Negative Arguments presented in the 1NC and carried through are weighed higher to me since the AFF has more time to answer it and reinforces the Neg strength if it can be carried through. More than likely, I have decided by the rebuttals and it is your time to convince me one way or the other. Other than that be respectful and show decorum.
