Judging qualifications:
Having both competed in and judged these events, I have a true heart for approaching the judging process as an educational activity. As a student competitor, myself and my peers rehearsed and competed at some of the highest contest levels and I worked closely through the coaching, editing, and contest process so I have a real understanding of what students and educators are working and aiming for with their pieces. As an adult, I’ve judged various invitationals and have stayed up to date with current policies and strategies for these contests. It’s been a few years since I have been available to judge, and I’m excited to get back to it!
