Judging qualifications:
While I have not competed in Speech or Debate events, I have had to learn Parli & IPDA styles at the collegiate level. I have judged rounds for each tournament that we have attended (1/month during school year). Additionally, my undergraduate degree is in Rhetoric & Philosophy and my graduate degree is in Philosophy. As for my judging philosophy, I listen for structurally sound arguments and do not consider "spreading" appropriate. I appreciate theory.
