Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: My focus is on stock issues. I like to see if the 5 stock issues can be won by the affirmative side. I look at topicality, inherency, solvency, significance of harm, and advantages over disadvantages. However, if the negative side can win one issue, that sways me as well.
