Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: I judge based on stock issues. In my interpretation of Policy Debate, the person who provides the greatest advantage or lowest disadvantage wins. Prove your case is better or prove the AFF provides worse than the status quo. All arguments are fine as long as they are effective.

LD

Rounds judged: 0
Approach: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Philosophy:
I judge based on the stock issues. Whoever provides the more substantially beneficial end result is the winner. Prove to me that your case has the greater benefit.
