I have a degree in Speech Communication from Texas A&M University. For 27 years I taught speech, English, journalism, theatre, debate and a wide variety of theatre electives including Improv, Advanced Acting and Directing. I coached UIL speech and debate events including CX, LD, Informative, Persuasive, Prose Interp and Poetry Interp. I directed over 20 One Act Plays, several of which competed at the Region and State levels.
