Approach: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Philosophy:
The most important factor in an LD debate round is upholding the value. The value must be properly measured by the criterion and justified with supporting evidence. Each competitor is responsible for refuting each point presented by their opponent while maintaining their core value.
