Judging qualifications:
I have judged at invitational, district and state competitions in the past. My strengths in coaching and judging lie in extemp and interp. I have in the last several years had both state medalists and a state champion in extemp, as well as medalists in congressional debate.
Although I am also the theatre teacher at Grady, I do believe that interp should be judged as a speech event rather than an acting competition.
