Academic Meet Officials

Spring Meet District Chair Information Form

The District Spring Meet Chair is typically the DEC Chair and is responsible for ALL spring meet activities, including one-act play, track & field, tennis, golf and all academic contests. It does not mean that this person will be on-site running all of these contests. It does, however, mean that this person is responsible for overseeing that all of these activities and competitors adhere to the UIL Constitution and Contest Rules.

District Academic Meet Director Information Form

  • To submit the District Academic Meet Director's information, click HERE.
  • Your contact information will display HERE.

The District Academic Meet Director is the person onsite running the district academic meet, setting up the academic meet in the UIL online system and entering results.

  • We will be introducing a new online entry system for 2022-23 for district spring meet events (not including One-Act Play and CX Debate). So, you will not need your UT EID authorized to set up the academic meet. OAP and CX will continue to use the Spring Meet Online Entry System that has been used in the past for at least this year.
  • We will send NEW procedure to set up an academic district meet in December. Email academics with questions.

TalkTab Speech Tabulation Software

The TalkTab Program will determine contestant placements for individual speaking events according to the current UIL Constitution & Contest Rules.
