UIL Conference 4A and 5A Football Championship Game Information

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AUSTIN, TX- The UIL Conference 4A Division II and Conference 5A Division I and II championship football games will be held this weekend, December 22 and 23 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Friday, December 22
Conference 4A Division II Championship
Waco vs. La Marque, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, December 23
Conference 5A Division II Championship
Cedar Hill vs. Houston Cypress Falls, 2 p.m.

Conference 5A Division I Championship
Southlake Carroll vs. Austin Westlake, 7 p.m.

Doors open one and a half hours prior to game time.

TICKETS
Tickets are available through the participating schools and the Alamodome. Tickets for the conference 5A games are also available through Ticketmaster outlets.

4A CHAMPIONSHIP WEB CAST
The UIL 4A Division II State Championship football game will be web cast live on AT&T's blue room web site. This will be the only live video broadcast of the game. To view the game, fans will need log onto the AT&T blue room sports web site at attblueroom.com/sports. The game also will be archived on the AT&T blue room web site. 5A CHAMPIONSHIPS TELECAST
Television coverage of both conference 5A games will take place on FSN Southwest. Coverage begins at 2:00 PM CT with the Division II title game featuring Cedar Hill and Cypress Falls. At 7:00 PM CT, Southlake Carroll will take on Austin Westlake for the Division I title. Championship Saturday will also include a two-hour live program between games from the Alamodome, and a 30-minute HIGH SCHOOL SCOREBOARD LIVE wrap-up show following the Division I championship.

MEDIA CREDENTIALS
Interested media outlets planning to cover the state football championships at the Alamodome should send all media credential requests to the Alamodome by noon Thursday, December 21. Please visit http://www.alamodome.com for more information. Credentials may be picked up at the southeast tunnel of the Alamodome from 10 a.m. -7 p.m. on December 23.
