AUSTIN, TX— The University Interscholastic League has opened voting for the Six-Man Football All-Century Team as part of the UIL’s Centennial Celebration. The deadline to cast votes for the top six-man players is November 23, 2009.
The UIL would like to recognize the outstanding performers from six-man football and is asking fans to vote for their favorite players of the past century. Fans can choose up to six players on offense and defense, and one kicker/punter.
Fans can cast their ballots on-line at http://www.uil100.org/vote.php. Write-in votes are allowed for anyone not on the list of candidates. Voting is limited to one entry per person, and multiple votes will not be counted.
The All-Century Teams will be announced and honored throughout the year at the UIL State Tournaments.
