2006 STATE SWIMMING & DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2006 State Swimming and Diving Championships are scheduled for February 24 and 25 at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swim Center on the University of Texas-Austin campus.
Conference 4A swimming and Diving prelims will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday while 5A prelims are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Finals on Saturday for Conference 4A will begin at 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. for 5A. Media credentials: Requests must be faxed on company letterhead to Kim Rogers at (512) 471-6589 by noon Wednesday, Feb. 22. Requests should specify which school(s) your media outlet will be covering and list all representatives of your media outlet covering the event. All credentials may be obtained at the Texas Swim Center Will Call ticket window (upper level).
Tickets: All seating is general admission. Ticket prices: Adults $10 and Students $5 per session; All-Tournament Pass $25. Persons wishing to come and go during the day should buy an all-tournament pass, as there will be no in and out privileges.
2006 UIL State Wrestling Championships
The 2006 UIL State Wrestling Championships will be held February 24 and 25 at the Austin ISD Delco Center, 4601 Pecan Brook Drive, Austin.
Matches will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday and at 9 a.m. Saturday. The complete State Wrestling schedule and participant list can be found on the UIL web site: http://www.uil.utexas.edu/athletics/wrestling/state/index.html
