AUSTIN, Texas — The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League met Thursday to hand down decisions on alleged rules violations.
The committee denied Veribest High School’s appeal of forfeiture of a football contest, upholding the district executive committee’s decision. Veribest’s Oct. 11 game versus Robert Lee will stand as a forfeit. The Veribest football program was also issued one-year probation and a public reprimand.
