AUSTIN, TX — The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League met Thursday to hand down decisions on the eligibility of student-athletes.
Eleven student-athletes from San Marcos High School were denied an appeal for varsity eligibility, upholding the previous ruling of the district executive committee. The student-athletes were also given two extra years for a total of three years of ineligibility per the recommendation of the district executive committee.
