AUSTIN, TX — The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League met Thursday to hand down decisions on the eligibility of student-athletes.
A student-athlete from Tenaha High School was granted an appeal for varsity eligibility. After hearing testimony from all parties, it was determined that this student did not change schools for athletic purposes.
A student-athlete from Silsbee High School was denied an appeal for varsity eligibility, upholding the previous ruling of the district executive committee.
