AUSTIN, TX — The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League met Monday to determine eligibility of student-athletes and issue penalties for possible UIL rules violations.
Arlington Houston High School Head Boys Basketball Coach Darius Williams was issued five-games suspension in basketball, three-years probation, public reprimand, and additional training for his ejection from a contest while on probation from a previous ejection.
Former Grand Prairie High School Head Girls Soccer Coach Evan Wilson was issued six-games suspension in soccer, three-years probation, public reprimand, and additional training for his ejection from a contest while on probation from a previous ejection.
Former Cedar Park High School Head Boys Soccer Coach Kevin Fleming was issued five-games suspension in soccer, three-years probation, public reprimand, and additional training for his ejection from a contest while on probation from a previous ejection.
Callisburg High School Head Baseball Coach Bryan Pauler was issued six-games suspension to begin the 2026 baseball season, three-years probation, public reprimand, and additional training for his ejection from a contest while on probation from a previous ejection.
Kelton High School Head Boys Basketball Coach Brandon Curtis was denied an appeal of an ejection and was issued a one-year probation, a public reprimand, and additional training.
Student-athletes from Canyon Randall High School and La Marque High School were not granted varsity eligibility. After hearing testimony from all parties, it was determined that these students did change schools for athletic purposes.
