AUSTIN, TX— The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League issued penalties to coaches for violations of UIL rules and handed down decisions on the eligibility of student-athletes on Tuesday.
Austin High School coach Larry Don Williams was issued a public reprimand, placed on probation for one year and suspended for one game for violation of Section 1208 (j) and Section 1208 (i)(1) of the UIL Constitution and Contest Rules.

In other action, Fort Elliott High School coach Matt Sardello was issued a public reprimand and placed on probation for one year for violation of Section 1208 (j), ejection from a contest.
