FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AUSTIN, TX — The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League will convene at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13 at the Crowne Plaza Austin to determine the eligibility of student athletes and discuss alleged rule violations.

A schedule of tomorrow’s hearings follows.

9:20 am           AA.     Royal High School: Appeal of District 11-4A Division 2 Executive Committee Decision Regarding Eligibility of a Student Athlete, Section 443, Changing Schools for Athletic Purposes

10:05 am         BB.      Hitchcock High School: Appeal of District 12-3A Division 1 Executive Committee Decision Regarding Eligibility of a Student Athlete, Section 443, Changing Schools for Athletic Purposes

10:50 am         CC.      Killeen Shoemaker High School: Appeal of District 8-6A Executive Committee Decision Regarding Eligibility of a Student Athlete, Section 443, Changing Schools for Athletic Purposes

12:15 pm         DD.     Houston Heights High School: Appeal of District 18-6A Executive Committee Decision Regarding Eligibility of a Student Athlete, Section 443, Changing Schools for Athletic Purposes

1:00 pm           EE.      Rio Grande City High School: Appeal of District 31-5A Executive Committee Decision Regarding Eligibility of a Student Athlete, Section 443, Changing Schools for Athletic Purposes
