FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AUSTIN, TX— The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League will convene at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30 at the UIL office in Austin to determine the eligibility of student-athletes at Weslaco High School.
A schedule of tomorrow’s hearings follows.
HEARINGS (AA-BB)
9:05 am AA. Weslaco High School: Appeal of District 32-5A Executive Committee Decision Regarding Eligibility of: 1. Student Athlete A. 2. Student Athlete B. 3. Student Athlete C.
10:35 am BB. Weslaco High School: Request for Exception to Section 27 (b) (3), Forfeiture of Contest.
The State Executive Committee meeting is an open meeting, and all interested parties are welcome to attend.
