AUSTIN, TX — Bands from across the state will compete for top honors at the 2020 UIL State Marching Band Championships to be held December 14-15 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
Schedule:
Monday, December 14
8 a.m. 2A Contest
3:30 p.m. 4A Contest
Tuesday, December 15
12 p.m. 6A Contest
All Tickets are $20 per person per session and go on sale on Monday, December 7. No admission charge for children under 3.
Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to avoid congestion at the doors. The Box Office will open 75 minutes prior to first performance of the day and doors will open 45 minutes prior to the first performance in each session. Tickets are available in advance through Ticketmaster. Be advised that a Ticketmaster-imposed service charge will apply.
Access to a live video feed will be provided through Box5TV for $12.00 for a single session pass.
Nationally recognized judges who have distinguished themselves as band directors and music educators will serve as adjudicators.
Conference 2A participants include the following high schools: Anson, Bowie Simms, Charlotte, Falls City, Forman, Ganado, Harper, Honey Grove, Linden-Kildare, Panhandle, Plains, Post, Rosebud-Lott, Santo, Sundown, Tenaha, Thorndale, Thrall
Conference 4A participants include the following high schools: Andrews, Big Spring, Bridge City, Burnet, Canyon, Corpus Christi Calallen, Geronimo Navarro, Hondo, Kennedale, Lake Belton, Lumberton, Paris, Paris North Lamar, Springtown, Taylor, Four Area B Qualifiers to be determined Tuesday, Dec. 8.
Conference 6A participants include the following high schools: Austin Lake Travis, Bridgeland, Buda Hays, Conroe The Woodlands, Conroe Oak Ridge, Coppell, Cypress Woods, Del Rio, Flower Mound, Harlingen, Harlingen South, Katy Seven Lakes, Katy Tompkins, Lewisville Hebron, Lewisville Marcus, Pearland, Pearland Dawson, San Antonio Johnson, Waxahachie, Wylie
