AUSTIN, TX — Bands from across the state will compete for top honors at the 2022 UIL State Marching Band Championships to be held November 7-9 for conferences 2A, 4A, and 6A at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Schedule:

Monday, November 7

8:30 a.m.                      6A Prelims

Tuesday, November 8

8 a.m.                          2A Prelims

2 p.m.                          6A Finals

7:30 p.m.                      2A Finals

Wednesday, November 9

9 a.m.                          4A Prelims

7 p.m.                          4A Finals

*Exact times for 2A, 4A, and 6A are available on the UIL Website.

Tickets are $20 per person per session and $35 for double session tickets.

Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to avoid congestion at the doors. The Box Office will open 75 minutes prior to first performance of the day and doors will open 45 minutes prior to the first performance in each session. Tickets are also available in advance through Ticketmaster. Be advised that a Ticketmaster-imposed service charge will apply.

Access to a live video feed will be provided through NFHS Network.

Nationally recognized judges who have distinguished themselves as band directors and music educators will serve as adjudicators.


Conference 2A participants include the following high schools: Anson, Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco, Bogata Rivercrest, Charlotte, Clarksville, Forsan, Ganado, Hale Center, Harper, Honey Grove, Mason, New Deal, Panhandle, Santo, Shiner, Sundown, Tenaha, Valley Mills

Conference 4A participants include the following high schools: Alvarado, Anna, Bridge City, Burnet, Canton, Canyon, Canyon Randall, Canyon West Plains, Celina, China Spring, Comal Davenport, Corpus Christi Calallen, Floresville, Gatesville, Hidalgo Early College, Kaufman, Lumberton, Paris, Paris North Lamar, Port Isabel, Rio Grande City Grulla, Springtown, Sulphur Springs

MEDIA CREDENTIALS
