AUSTIN, Texas — Mariachi ensembles from across the state will compete for top honors at the 2021 UIL State Mariachi Festival on June 18-19 at Seguin High School.

This is the sixth year of the state mariachi contest and third year as an official UIL contest. Fifty schools will perform at the state festival this year.

Tickets for the State Mariachi Festival are $15 for both adults and students. Tickets will only be sold online and can be purchased at the following link. Click Here

Session 1: Friday, June 18

2:00 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.

Schools: Bridgeport, Bryan, Edinburg, El Paso El Dorado, El Paso Pebble Hills, El Paso Socorro, Falfurrias, Fort Worth Northside, Kinder, Kyle Lehman, La Joya, La Joya Palmview, Laredo United South, Los Fresnos, Odessa, Robstown Early College, San Antonio Churchill, San Antonio McCollum, San Antonio Southwest, San Antonio Southwest Legacy, Santa Gertrudis Academy, San Marcos, Seguin, South San Antonio, Texas City, Valley View, Zapata.

Session 2: Saturday, June 19

9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Schools: Edcouch-Elsa, Edinburg North, Edinburg Vela, Grand Prairie Fine Arts, Lubbock, McAllen, McAllen Rowe, Northside Jay, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Early College, Premont Collegiate, PSJA Memorial, PSJA North, PSJA Southwest, Rice, San Antonio Brackenridge, San Antonio Fox Tech, San Antonio Harlandale, San Antonio Jefferson, Somerset, Weslaco, San Angelo Lake View, Waco University.
