FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

The 2008 UIL State Track & Field Championships will be held May 9-10 at Mike A. Myers Track Stadium on the UT-Austin campus.

Media Credentials: Requests should be faxed to Kim Rogers at (512) 471-6589 no later than NOON Wednesday May 7.  Requests must be on company letterhead, list the individuals covering the event for your media outlet, and specify which school(s) your media outlet will be covering.   Credentials should be picked up at the white tent to the left of Gate 32 located on Robert Dedman Drive (southeast corner of Darryl K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium). Credentials will be available beginning one hour prior to the start of the meet.

Tickets: STUDENT- $5 per session

             ADULT - $10 per session

             ALL SESSION TICKET - $25

             SATURDAY ONLY TICKET (good for both Sat. sessions) - $15

Sessions & Running Events

9:00 a.m.: Friday, May 9 - 1st Session: 3200-Meter Runs - 3A, 4A, 1A, 2A?

6:00 p.m.: Friday, May 9 - 2nd Session: 3A & 4A?

9:00 a.m.: Saturday, May 10 - 3rd Session: 3200-Meter Run- 5A?

12:00 noon: Saturday, May 10 - 3rd Session: 1A & 2A?

6:00 p.m.: Saturday, May 10 - 4th Session: 5A
