AUSTIN, TX— The 2013 UIL Volleyball State Championships will be held Thursday-Saturday, November 21-23, at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.

Thursday, Nov. 21

Semifinals

Conference 2A

1 p.m.              Schulenburg (41-3) vs. Brock (36-8)

3 p.m.              Crawford (46-2) vs. Bushland (36-5)

Conference 4A

5 p.m.              Amarillo (36-9) vs. Friendswood (32-14)

7 p.m.              Dripping Springs (40-9) vs. Prosper (34-11)

Friday, Nov. 22

Semifinals

Conference 1A

9 a.m.              Lindsay (37-7) vs. Round Top-Carmine (31-12)

11 a.m.            Jewett Leon (45-2) vs. Windthorst (35-8)

Conference 3A

1 p.m.              Decatur (39-7) vs. Big Spring (32-13)

3 p.m.              Bellville (40-7) vs. College Station (31-11)

Conference 5A

5 p.m.              Southlake Carroll (48-1) vs. San Antonio Churchill (46-2)

7 p.m.              Conroe The Woodlands (43-0) vs. League City Clear Falls (40-6)

Saturday, Nov. 23

Doors will open one hour prior to the first match.

Parking is available for $5 in the lot adjacent to the Curtis Culwell Center.

Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students.  An all tournament ticket (good for all three days) may be purchased for $25 and a two-day tournament ticket is available starting Friday for $18.  There are no advanced ticket sales.  Ticket windows will open at 11 a.m. Thursday.

Interested media outlets planning to cover the UIL Volleyball State Championships must submit an online media credential request by noon Wednesday, Nov. 20. The Volleyball Media Credential Request Form can be found online at: https://www.uiltexas.org/form/media-credentials/request.php?sport=volleyball. Please refer to the UIL Volleyball State Tournament Media Policy on the UIL website for media credential guidelines. Credentials may be picked up at the East entrance of the Curtis Culwell Center no earlier than one hour prior to the first match.

UIL Volleyball State Tournament Games to be Webcast Live

The UIL Volleyball State Tournament will be webcast on FoxSportsSouthwest.com. Webcast coverage includes all games of the tournament.
