AUSTIN, TX— The 2017 UIL Volleyball State Championships will be held Wednesday-Saturday, November 15-18, at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.

Wednesday, Nov. 15

Conference 1A Semifinals

1 p.m. –Trinidad (26-10) vs. Blum (32-15)

3 p.m. –Bronte (28-12) vs. D’Hanis (28-13)

Conference 2A Semifinals

5 p.m. – Crawford (44-7) vs. Archer City (27-13)

7 p.m. – Iola (38-2) vs. Burton (31-11)

Thursday, Nov. 16

Conference 3A Semifinals

11 a.m. – Boyd (38-7) vs. Goliad (33-9)

1 p.m. – Callisburg (41-3) vs. East Bernard (26-14)

3 p.m. – Conference 1A Final

5:30 p.m. – Conference 2A Final

Doors will open one hour prior to the first match.

Parking is available for $15 in the lot adjacent to the Curtis Culwell Center.

Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $7 for students.  A two-day pass may be purchased for $20 and an all-tournament ticket is $30.  Advanced tickets can be purchased at ExtremeTix Online.  Ticket windows will open two hours prior to the scheduled match time for on-site sales.

Curtis Culwell Center Clear Bag Policy

To ensure guest safety and quicker entry into the facility the Curtis Culwell Center has implemented a clear bag policy. This policy states that fans cannot bring any purse, bag or container larger than a small clutch bag. Fans may bring clear bags including a clear tote that does not exceed 12 by 6 by 12 inches or a clear one-gallon re-sealable storage bag. UIL App

The UIL is pleased to announce the release of UIL State, the official mobile app for all UIL State Championships. The app features spectator information, schedules, team profiles, and live stats. It is free and available for immediate download in the App Store and Google Play.

Media Credentials

Interested media outlets planning to cover the UIL Volleyball State Championships must submit an online media credential request by noon Tuesday, Nov. 14. The Volleyball Media Credential Request Form can be found online at: https://www.uiltexas.org/form/media-credentials/request.php?sport=volleyball. Please refer to the UIL Volleyball State Tournament Media Policy on the UIL website for media credential guidelines. Credentials may be picked up at the East entrance of the Curtis Culwell Center beginning one hour prior to the first match.

UIL Volleyball State Tournament Games to be Broadcast Live

NFHS Network will provide live coverage of the 2017 UIL Volleyball State Tournament.
