Speech State Tournament Information
Please be sure to read ALL the information on the Tournament website so you don't miss any deadlines.
In order to promote safety during the global pandemic, the tournament will be hosted in a virtual format this year rather than a large in-person event that traditionally brings students together from all areas of the state to the University of Texas campus. All events at the tournament will be virtual in format. Students may compete from their school campus or home, whichever provides the most reliable technology and Internet. All rounds will be synchronous (live). We will be using Speechwire.com as the tournament management system and NSDA Campus/Zoom for video-conferencing.

Congress State Meet
As concerns grow related to the current weather conditions and forecast around the state, our shared priority is the safety and well-being of the students and school personnel of our member schools. We have made the decision to move the State Congress event on February 14-15 to a virtual platform. Schools that were planning to attend the event in person in La Vernia will be contacted soon with instructions for the virtual event.
